Can love occupy the same space as resistance?

How does love hinder or catapult our most revolutionary and transformative desires for our communities? How do we respond to non-loving attack? What are the ways that we resist? What do we resist?

UWM Community Art senior, Nicole Naudi, in collaboration with Pink Salt Art Collective invites the public to take part in a series of writing workshops and group discussions dedicated to unpacking themes of love, activism and reverence.

Through guided poetry readings, writing activities and critical conversation, we will explore: how does love occupy the same space as resistance?

Participants will have the opportunity to submit any written work generated through the workshops to Pink Salt Art Collective's upcoming zine, Makewell Vol. 2. Makewell is a biannual publication showcasing text-based work of local and national writers and artists, existing both online and as a limited physical edition.

Each session will grow out of different activities and readings, so we encourage you to visit more than one! Come write, talk, and transform discourse into creative energy!
